Well, today the Pentagon is releasing a new batch of files and videos connected to unidentified anomalous phenomena. This latest wave follows the release of hundreds of UFO files earlier this month. And the question remains, what will these newly released files show about life beyond our stars and what the government knows about it or some say could be hiding. News Nation senior national correspondent Brian Anton is live for us in Miami with the details on this. What we may learn from these files. Brian, I don't know if in the commercial break you could hear any of our audio, but we're talking here in the studio about what we believe. There is whether you believe there's life beyond Earth or not, it certainly got all of us talking. >> Oh my gosh. Of course, Marty. And regardless of whether you believe they're aliens, the videos are really really interesting. I'm going to go through them with you uh in a second. They always seem to make these big releases on on a Friday. So, we've got a team of people behind the scenes going through there's thousands of documents and pages and videos. So, I'm going to show you what we found uh so far. I want to show you this first one. Um this is from March 2026. And you can see there's a submarine out in the ocean. And this is not a US submarine, we are told. This is the military tracking another submarine. But watch as the camera moves, Marne, there is a dot that appears on the screen. Look right down there on the bottom of the screen, right below the middle there. You can see that dot. It almost looks like a bird, but it's not a bird. Um, and then you see there's another one, and they're kind of swirling around. Uh, that is a UAP. We don't know exactly what it is. Um, we don't know where in the world this is. They didn't they didn't give that information and we don't know what country that submarine belongs to. Uh, but it's interesting that little dot uh is is flying near the submarine. Is that some kind of drone that they have? We don't know. Uh, but that's included in the files officially as a UAP. Next video um is interesting. This is from April of 2024. You can see the plane there. This is southeastern United States. Look below the plane though, Marne. You saw right there. There's like a little white light flying below that plane. It's out of out of frame now. Maybe we can start the video over again cuz it's quick. We're trying to get these on quick, so we haven't had time to like circle anything for you. But if we start this one over, you see see the plane right there, Marne. And then right below it is that little white dot flying below the plane. Some kind of object traveling. government says this could possibly be derived from an infrared sensor aboard a US Coast Guard platform, but it's it's still in the in the list of uh videos technically classified as a UAP. So, that one was interesting. And then this final one I found interesting, Marne, this is from 2023. Remember when the US shot down the Chinese balloon? This is actually video of that. So, you see the balloon explode, but there's an unidentified object that comes into the frame after the uh they shoot down the balloon. And it's hard to see. I'm going to look again here. Um there it is. You can kind of see it for a second, but after they shoot the balloon down, there's this unidentified little dot that comes into the frame that is still um unknown exactly what it is. So, so those are the three biggest videos that we found so far. We're still going through. Remember, UAP caucus was pushing for 40 plus videos. They threatened to use subpoenas. These are the 40 videos that they that they wanted that have come out today um that have now been released. And these are the three so far uh that have stood out to us. Marne >> inconclusive. It's so peculiar. You think in our lifetime we'll know what these things are? >> I don't know. Look, every time they do one of these releases, I'm just waiting like are we going to see the little the little baby alien or something? You know, it's like you're always waiting for that one where you know for sure. >> Uh but then every time it's kind of like, well, is it a drone? They still you you really can't tell. >> A little green guy peaks out of the window and like waves. I don't know. I'm not convinced. I need tangible evidence. These videos just raise more questions. But I wish I could have I should have taken a photo of our studio crew as you went through each of those videos like glued like watching. What is it? What is it? All right, Brian. >> Yeah. I mean, look, it's it's very mysterious. There's there's clearly something we don't know about. So, >> agreed on that. Um, okay. Well, keep looking through them. Um, give us a shout when you see something else cool that we don't know what it is. For more, we're welcoming in UFO journalist and former Defense Department official Maric Von Renamp. I appreciate you being here tonight and I'm so curious. What do you make of this new batch? Is there any specific video or piece of information that's standing out? >> Thanks, Natasha. There there's a lot to unpack here. Um, and I'll I'll just start by uh emphasizing that the videos lack a lot of uh critical information. A lot of the the symbology that tells us where the camera's looking, where the plane is flying is redacted. So, there's there's there's limited kind of usefulness for for some of these videos. That said, I would encourage uh your viewers to uh to go to war.gov/UFO and search for spherical UAP in and out of clouds. It's a very interesting uh video that appears to show a a rounded spherical object uh kind of uh hiding behind some clouds, for lack of a better word, maneuvering and then flying behind some other clouds. Uh, of course, these videos require um extensive analysis before we can have any confidence that we're seeing something truly anomalous. But that right off the bat is a very very interesting video. And I'll just briefly highlight um another set of documents that were uh corroborated by sensor images, infrared sensor images. And this is really an extraordinary series of events uh just a few months ago in late 2025 where uh senior int two senior intelligence officials were out at a range a military testing range out in the western United States. Um and they had a series of just truly extraordinary um experiences flying in a helicopter uh observing bright reddish orange orbs very very in close proximity to their helicopter that would flare up uh appear in a T-shaped formation apparently. Um and this was all documented uh in images that accompany this this release. So um a lot to unpack. Um, but those are the two if you know if I had to really pick two items that that really stood out to me, it was that one video and that um that pretty remarkable incident. >> Yeah, I appreciate you parsing through that for us. Um, let's take a listen. In reaction to this release on Friday, NewsNation's Ross Colart had this to say. >> Why has the government concealed this for so long? I suspect a lot of it is because the P the Pentagon doesn't like admitting that there are superior technologies operating on this planet that are that are not ours and they don't appear to be foreign adversaries and we don't like admitting that we're not the apex predator anymore. >> You see Harvard's Ovillob nodding there in agreement. Do you agree with Ross that we're in fact not the apex predator anymore? or that extraterrestrial life exists and it's clearly superior. >> That that's a that's that's a point blank question. And look in from from my analysis looking at 80 years of records um really just truly remarkable consistency from the 1940s and the 1950s. Uh some of the work that I've done analyzing some of this footage, I'm convinced that there is there's no question in my mind that there are objects that demonstrate extremely advanced capabilities. um flying in in our atmosphere. Um and and so I look at whether that is non-human intelligence, whether um that is some other um interdimensional uh intelligence that that we just cannot comprehend at this point. Um I I honestly I'm at the point where I am I am convinced that that is uh must be considered as a very very serious possibility. >> Really appreciate it.
